The main product of the company is the pneumatic road mobile shipunloaders on trailers suited for European road sizes (13.8mx2.5mx4m) with capacities up to 200 TPH for 5.000 DWT ships. Further capacities can be extended up to 300 TPH and 10.000 DWT shipsizes by means of easy demountable parts of the main trailer or two trailers combined.

Other products are for example very large shipunloaders. These capacities go up to 800 – 1000 TPH with ship sizes up to 50.000 DWT. Also other products than cement like fly ash, china clay and even alumina are possible and with recent references.

PBC Services is a joint venture whereby 50 % of the shares is owned by the Van Aalst family. The company provides stevedoring services for clients mainly in the USA. PBC Services uses equipment from Van Aalst Bulkhandling. This gives the engineering at Van Aalst Bulkhandling feedback of actual operating costs of a pneumatic ship un-loader. Herewith we can offer our client also our know-how in operating our bulk handling equipment.

The company is located in Dordrecht, The Netherlands.  Dordrecht is situated 25 km south of Rotterdam.  The facility has approximately a 9000-m2 area with approximately 3000-m2 for production and offices.  The facility has a waterfront of 150m with easy waterway access via Rotterdam to the North Sea.  With this waterfront we can convert cargo vessels up to DWT 10.000 at our yard. The facility has also easy road access.
