DRY BULK HANDLING SYSTEMS FOR OFFSHORE SUPPLY VESSELS
Vent Filter® system
During loading the VENT line will be opened to let the air out of the bulktank. The cement is a powdery product and the cement dust will escape through the VENT line. This dust is usually discharged overboard via a hose. In more and more ports this practice is because of environmental regulations not allowed. In general about 2% or 3% of bulk product will escape through the VENT line. To clean and filter the air from the product Vent Filters® are installed.
Existing systems for VENTLINE filtering can not be supplied with an emission certificate. The filter cloth is easily exchangeable and is delivered with an emission certificate of 5mg/nm3.
The filter cloth will be automatically cleaned with compressed air. The storage inside the filter is about 500 litres and can be pumped out via DBMAS®.

To filter the VENT line we offer our newly designed Vent Filter® system. The system has usually two (2) segregated systems therefore we recommend two (2) Vent Filter® units.
